Triple Decker Steak Sandwich Instructions

Triple-decker steak sandwich

Step 1 - 250g/8oz-9oz pieces trimmed skirt of beef

Step 2 - 4 garlic cloves, smashed and peeled small bunch of thyme

Step 3 - 6 tbsp of olive oil

Step 4 - 1 oblong loaf sourdough bread

Step 5 - 1 beefsteak, tomato sliced

Sauce 

Step 1 - 50g of cocktail gherkin, finely chopped

Step 2 - 1 heaped tbsp of capers, finely chopped

Step 3 - 1 bunch of flat-leaf parsley, leaves finely chopped

Step 4 - 7 tbsp of  mayonnaise 

Step 5 - Splash worcheshire sauce & 4 shakes of tabasco sauce

Step 6 - 1 small red onion, finely chopped

Step 2 - 1 golden carrot - carrot surrounded by golden nuggets

Step 3 - Then add redstone to make the duration to 8 minutes long

Term 1 & 2 Reflection

My personal highlights were the results in my maths tasks throughout the weeks, I enjoyed learning new maths equations and ways to solve them.

The thing I am most proud of are my choices during class, I feel things are more important now since I'm a year 8 and that choices are more important as I transfer to highschool.

My goals for next term are to try improve my times in maths. For writing I want to work on descriptive writing and hooking the reader into what im trying to explain, but my main goal for next term is to try different things.

Maths Work Book Week 1

This week our work book is based around perimeter, area and volume of a triangle and circles.

Thelma Eakans visiting us.

The author of this book Thelma Eakans came in a visited us to talk about the book. She brought in a lamp that they should have used because they used lamps without glass around the flame covering it and they had open flame which caused the explosion because the gas in the mine was methane and methane is highly flammable.

She also brought in a led man that her friend made and gave to her. It was very heavy and it was a replica of the monument at the brunner mine historical site.

The Mines Afire! Pt1

We have recently started ready The Mines Afire as a class book and we are now doing comprehension questions. We had to think about the things that we would miss if we lived in 1896.

For the past two days we have been reading historical notes about the brunner mine disaster in 1896.
We are going to soon be reading The Mines Afire story and we a reading the historical notes about it for some basic knowledge.

Looking Back - 2018

Best thing about 2018 would be getting a new classroom with working heaters.

Thing I'm most proud of is being the bigger person in certain situations.

My goal for next year is to get under 2 mins in maths tests and act more quickly on more common equations.

Overall 2018 hasn't been too bad.

PrEP 2018

This term week 9 of 2018 PrEP has begun and this year we are making origami claws, ninja stars, paper planes and rubber band guns. On market day yesterday we made 56 dollars from the market day.

Descriptive Writing - Wings

This week we had three days to make a good piece of descriptive writing.

Descriptive Writing

I see the sky bursting into a flow of pastel colour. I hear people boasting about the popular rides.

I feel the adrenaline rushing through my veins putting me in a static state till my hair stands up in excitement!

I can taste the pink sugary spider webbed candy floss, its sweetness burning on my tongue. I smell the scent of tomato sauce covered hot chips roaming its way through the air to my nostril.
